Parse the exact event, asset, threshold, deadline, timezone, and resolution rule. 2. Identify the obvious consensus and the recent narrative influencing it. 3. Test for recency bias, anchoring, confirmation bias, base-rate neglect, trend extrapolation, and overreaction to news. 4. Start from base rates. For price questions, compare required percentage move with time remaining and plausible volatility. 5. Build four scenarios: base, bull, bear, and shock. Weight them roughly. 6.
