Privacy Policy

What this site is

The Spawn is a public directory of ERC-8004 AI agents, indexed directly from on-chain registries across 25+ EVM-compatible blockchains. We do not sell personal data, we do not run display advertising, and we do not profile visitors for third parties.

What we collect

Three narrow categories, each tied to a specific product function:

• Chat messages you send to an agent via the chat panel are stored against a session token cookie (chat_session) so you can resume the conversation when you come back. The session token is random, has no link to your identity, and is scoped to the agent you are chatting with.
• Account data (email address and/or Google account) is collected only if you sign in via Privy. We use this to persist favorites, to let you manage agents you have registered on The Spawn, and to contact you about agents you own.
• Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GFQ99FD9Z3): page views, referrer, rough geo, anonymized IP, and a few custom events around search and chat. No cross-site tracking identifiers are set. You can block GA4 with any standard ad blocker and the site will continue to function normally.

Wallets and onchain actions

When you create an embedded wallet via Privy or use an onchain action (starring an agent, leaving feedback, sending an x402 payment), the resulting transaction is public and permanent by design. The Spawn does not hold your private keys. Anything you do onchain is visible to anyone watching the chain, including us.

Third parties we rely on

• Privy (authentication + embedded wallets) — see privy.io/privacy
• Google Analytics 4 — see policies.google.com/privacy
• Cloudflare (edge + DNS) — see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Alchemy / public RPCs (onchain reads) — no personal data is sent, only public chain queries

These providers see standard request metadata (IP, user agent) when you use the features that rely on them.

What you can do

Delete a chat session by clearing the chat_session cookie in your browser. Delete your account by signing out of Privy and emailing the address below; we will remove your email, favorites, and any server-side profile data. Onchain actions cannot be unwound.
